A presente proposta teve origem na participação do concurso para as Inaugurações Simultâneas da Rua Miguel Bombarda - edição de 2014, no Porto. O desafio contou com a elaboração de 5 cartazes que estariam relacionados com as 5 inaugurações do evento para o ano de 2014. O conceito teve como base a representação metafórica dos quatro Elementos existentes no planeta Terra: Água, Terra, Fogo e Ar. Sendo que a este conjunto somou-se ainda um quinto Elemento, de carácter fictício, mas também ele “fundamental” para a existência de vida: a Arte. A figura central, Miguel Bombarda, personifica mais do que uma personagem histórica, o motor de toda a actividade artística existente no espaço e, por isso, deverá ser eternizado. Assim sendo, Miguel Bombarda emana vida, e a vida emana Arte.
This was a project submission for the competition "Inaugurações Simultâneas" for Miguel Bombarda's Street - 2014 edition, at the city of O'Porto, which represents a cycle of art exhibitions with simultaneous openings. The challenge was to represent five posters for the five art openings programed for the year of 2014. The concept was based on the metaphorical representation of the four elements existing on planet Earth: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. The fifth element, is a fictional one but also "fundamental" to the existence of life as well: Art. The central figure, Miguel Bombarda, embodies more than a historical figure: the engine of all artistic activity existing in the street so, therefore, should be immortalized. Miguel Bombarda emanates life, and life emanates Art.
